    Modding my stock rideplate

    Here are a couple pics of me trying to smoothen out my rideplate and tomorrow I will be cutting it very similar to Jim's plate and see how it works for me.

    I still have some sanding and evening out to do but here are some pics.

    Got some more sanding down and was able to cut and weld it. It was welded in the middle to reinforce it just in case the bending made it weaker. I'm letting it cool and tomorrow hopefully I can grind and sand it down smooth and then finish it off with a nice polish.

    It helps lift the ski a little out of the water. I know it doesn't look like it now but it will look real nice once it's done. I might even weld my intake grate toghether and make it completely flush.

    Now that you have that one modded sell it and get you a Riva OL plate

    Wishful thinking. LOL Modded stock plate can be just as fast.
