    Started building my rear intake....pics

So....I torn into one of my winter projects today.....I strated work on my rear intake....I used the stock rear air snorkle thingy & trimmed it to allow a 4 inch PVC cupler to attach....sealed it good with goop & then ran some black heat tape around it for good measure....then came the 4-3 inch rubber adapter...(i already had 3 inch tube, might do 4 later) and about 10 inches of my 3 inch tube right to the charger inlet....

    NOW THE FUN STUFF!!!!

I drilled 12 (six on each side) 3/4inch holes in the grab handle. I like holes better than removing a big section like Riva does. Then I painted the grab handle with krylon fusion (plastic etching) paint. Tommorow I will be making the prefilter holder just like rivas out of lexan...pics & an update to follow tomorrow...

cool, take some pics. i tried to fit a rear intake in mine last weekend and i couldnt get it to work. i was using 4" hose though. i had to use a 4-3" elbow on the sc and the waterbox was in the way.

    Torque:

    That is some nice work............

I am going to do something similar, but leave the stock air tract in place so when I go up on Lake Superior I can pull it off and run the air from inside.
