2001 Polaris Genesis - Still No Spark
I wasn't getting a spark so I went though the diagnostic procedure and found one of the three stator hall effect switches wasn't operating, so I replaced the stator. I'm still not getting a spark. The coil checks out ok and the brown lead from the CDi has 7.8V when cranking engine. Since the CDI has a capacitor used to step up the voltage to the coil can it still be defective even though it supplies 7.8V to the stator?
Can someone help me?
