You will notice a lot of hesitation from the engine!
You can always pressure test it to make sure that it's good.

Can also look for a mily residue on the inside of the pipes or core of the intercooler

wondering something similar I had a crack in the small line in my gen II Alot of hesitation and of course water in hull. I have a question is my ski is not run for a week or so the throttle is locked cable on or off I have to press on throttle hard once it breaks its fine. Cable is smooth springs look good. Is this common?

if you ride in salt water you will have a sticky tb from time to time ...take it off and work some oil in the bushings..
if the intercooler is leaking it will spudder alot you may foul plugs...
