    2007 GTI SE leak

I have a leak which I think I have isolated to one of the fittings going to the Ride Plate from the inside of the hull. I elevated the front of the ski and carefully added water until it was up to the fitting. I then noticed a steady drip coming from where the ride plate and jet pump support meet on the back side.
I am wondering if it is OK to try and add sealant from inside the hull, around the fitting to the ride plate, or should I remove the ride plate and reseal it.

your biggest problem would be removing that fitting that goes into the ride-plate if you sealed it up and for some reason down the road had to take the ride-plate off. if your not real concerned with it.... sounds like it would be the easiest way.

that being said its usually better to just do it right the first time and not have to worry about it.....
