    Seadoo thread pitch

I'm looking to clean the threads on the 951 and was wondering does anyone know what screw pitch seadoo uses (1.25,1.5, etc). I tried the below but didn't get consistent results ( I su*k-I know) I ordered a gauge but it'll take a week. Thx!

If you have a decent tap and die set already you don't need a gauge. If you need a tap just drive to a good hardware store that sells tools. Just don't leave the bolt your trying to get a tap for at home. They may even have that gauge you're waiting a week for.

The bulk of them are M8 1.25mm Pitch and M10 1.5mm Pitch

To clean out the old loctite, get a "plug" tap. It has more of a chamfer than the bottoming tap which helps lead in alignment. see mcmaster, search hand taps for explanation.

why not new screws... less time at the wire wheel.

Those M8 screws were for the PTO, rear mount, and exhaust AV brackets. They are exact replacements.
