Another Dry Pipe On E-Bay

Isn't that just a regular stock pump of an sl650? I am in the process of rebuilding my sl650. What is the big deal with those pipes?

ah, yes that is the pipe you have and everybody wants one. That is why I said in your post not to sell it if you got any offers. Was yours the 92 I hear it's even better.

Yes, I have the 92 and remember what you said. What exactly is so desired about this pipe?

Aww, that one looks better than mine
The 92 and 93 are dry pipes water exits the pipe seperate from the exhaust and not mixed in thus higher rpms from what I understand, but sealion ph2ocraft, etc... can better clarify.. I don't know what that means, but it makes a difference, and you can turn you polaris into a yamaha and have it pee out the back too and know if your cooling system is functioning properly!
Now, my question: why in the heck did polaris stop using the drypipes after 93? if it's better, why would they go to a worse alternative... emissions regulations?

Ok...that's what I thought was the "big dead" about the pipe but I just wanted to make sure. Thanks for the info!
