    1997 monte carlo driveshaft

Well what I had thought was an engine issue isnt. I believe my drive shaft is the updated type. It has a 3 inch or so coupler and the drive shaft is threaded into it. I was able to get the coupler off using the rope trick. Now I am having difficulty getting the drive shaft out of the coupler. Is there a trick? I fired up the engine and it seems to be running very well. I know the floating bearing went. Will that cause a loss of power? It was leaking around it.
