    Not happy RIVA

Has anyone else had this happen??
Ordered it from Jerry, great price and quick international postage well packed.
Installation was quick and straight forward tested it on the tap no problems.
Headed to the river for a quick run, ready for an epic 120km ride tomorrow, 1 hour into the ride it suddenly snapped in half.
In the top pic Iwas just getting ready to try to glue it then thought I should snap a pic. Got it clamped and my fingers crossed that it will be all good in the morning.

what is it...looks kinda like a finger throddle..if it is in a pinch bicycle brake lever ..easy to find and can be made to work...

there really shouldnt have been any load on it unless the tb bottomed out before the lever hit the bar...

and i probably wouldnt just rely on glue for the ride i think you are about to take...get a piece of aluminum and some rivets and make a mending plate wont look so hot but extra insurance..

I'm guessing that the throttle body was fully open... and the finger throttle still had travel. At least you didn't snap the end of the cable off.

Does it sit flush (the 2 pieces) when the screw is wound?
