my little seadoo VTS secret. letting the cat out now....

not sure if any one has figured this out in the past years but here is one of my oldest tricks to getting a new VTS trim motor. done many installs and they are the same parts.... look at the differences and prices... fits all the way back to my old 96xp

smart!! Great catch, thanks for sharing! You working on a Nissan window, and noticed the motor looked familiar? Or how did discover they were the same part, out of curiosity?

That is kinda crazy, wonder if it is the same manufacture for both...even the same cog wheel on it.

Looks similar to Ford window motors as well.

i do all sorts of work on cars and needed a window motor one day, which at the same time my 96xp needed a vts motor so while going thru the junk yards looking for motors for the car, i was like man that looks exactly like the motor i just took out of the seadoo. pretty much the same thing as neither of them is water proof. just drill the threaded holes out and bolt that thing up in the seadoo and works every time and you can get them wasy cheaper. just thought it might help people out in the long run here... hope it helps...
