Thread: cavitation

    i was running my skii.. and then it suddenly cavitate..when i get back to the shore and turn the skii off...and start again, the cavitate sure its not my ride plate...what are the other causes of cavitation?? could the bearing of my shaft causes cavitation? what are the symptoms if my engine and stator not aligned??

    You sucked up a stick or something floating in the water. It got dislodged when you stopped and now everything is fine.

    Of course it matters, you have learned more than anybody I know in the short time you have visited the boards.

    I agree you probably sucked up some crap and spit it out on shut down, if it happens again and again I'd begin to wonder.
