    GP800 Power Valve install

I'm installing a new power valve in a re-sleeved cylinder. The PV sleeve/bushing that holds the valve does not want to slide all the way into place. It's sticking out about an 1/8 in, preventing me from replacing the hold down screw. I tried tapping it down, but it doesn't want to budge. Do I need to heat it up? Any ideas?

    Thanks,

    Roger

Don't force it. Is the power valve a new one? If so where did you buy it? You most likely have the new style (updated) power valve. Are you installing 2 new power valves?
(if not you should) The bushing around the updated power valve is longer and requires a bolt that is a little longer to hold it in place...
