    First winter with GPR?

    I have a few things planned for winter. Any tips would be appreciated.

    1. pump tunnel renforcement: CF twill is on it's way. I'm also thinking of relocating the battery and ecu to lower gravity and show off the CF.

    2. change pump to gear oil: AmsOil Marine 80w90 GL-5. I would like to find an 87mm nozzel & prop to test.

    Current setup: '06 GPR, Riva EFI, R&D 1300 ride plate, 1200/800 grates, Riva filter w/FA removed, R&D D-plate, R&D PPK w/ shims installed, stock sponsons stepped, holes in hood & bucket and shoe holes filled.

    My goal is perfect hookup and acceleration but top speed is nice too.

    whats your rpms and speeds with that setup?

    Forget the 87mm... Good low end, losses on top. (So I guess it depends what you going for.)

    Turning the stock prop at 7220 to 7250 rpm. Speeds with full fuel, seated and nuetral trim is about 67.

    Any thing I should know about converting the pump to oil? Also, how do you preasure test a yami pump w/out a fill hole?
