    R&D Valve Cover Block-off Plates

    I am installing the R&D valve cover block-off plates. Are the reed valves (air suction valves) still fitted to seal the plates? The 2008 parts breakdown does not show the reed valves but i was wondering how the plates would otherwise seal.

    yes, leave them in to seal the plates

    are they race legal in the stock class ?

    well they are blocked from '08 and completely blocked on the '09 head so guessing they are.

    Yes you can upgrade stock parts on the same model. so lucky they were in the 08 the 09 is a different model 250 vs 260.

    Is there any diff in performance from the 08 and the 09 's ?
