    Help In Miami....!

I am wondering if any of you guys live in the Miami area and are mechanicaly inclined to do a carburator rebuild. I am not really sure if it's the carbs or the filters, but it wont accelerate past 3000 rpms withough bogging and turning off. Now it does not even start. Its a 1200 XLT.

I was recommended to Tim Judge but have not been able to schedule anything with him. I would prefer to have someone local to help me do it ( With Pay ) so I can learn, or just someone to do it and let me watch. Or reccomend someone.

Please help me on this one since it has been down for about 2 weeks now, and my other ski is down too Post or call 305-724-3917...

I am in Broward and good with carbs.

If you take them off and drive up, we can put them on my bench and go thru them together. I have all the carb Fercho specs.

I am not in the pwc business and would not charge anyone for help in our hobby.

    pm me

How do I take 'em out? Does the whole exhaust assembly have to come off? Which side first?

First off what has been done to your xlt ?

Yes exhaust has to be removed.
Only the rear anaconda exhaust section that has the cat in it has to come out. Also removing the u pipe that curls around the front makes it easier.

Does it still have the cat?

If the cat is not the problem now, it will be in the near future.

Now would be a good time to install d-plate when exhaust if off.

Start wrenching, Work slow, take your time, any questions call me or ask here in the forum. Many great yami guys here that will help.
Here is a pic of the exhaust and manual , engine is the same as your xlt

After the exhaust is out, seperate it and take the cat out, if it is not already in pieces.
