    Looks good

Did you use auto paint or spray bomb it?
I cant tell if the paint job has any orange peal in pic
Also on the plastic did you add adhesion promoter to keep it from pealing?

I've always thought about doing a paint job like that. I was thinking a metallic silver base, a candy orange midcoat, then a gold flake clear would look killer. Not sure I am talented enough to pull it off though. You obviously have a done this type of work before and it shows.

I am thinking about painting mine next year after I know everything mechanical is replaced and up to par.

I painted a ski once when I was doing body work and it sucked prepping it. we only painted the top but it took forever. Part of it was my boss wanted me to use gray 3M pad and not sand it. I could not get a scratch on the gel coat so I would use the red when he was not looking.

Did you just sand it all down with 600?
