    Power from 1.5L?

    How about 1300HP (qualifying setup in 1986)

    Maybe, It's all about balance. Can't make more power without making more heat and then the problem is getting rid of it. Properly........ Read the Motec files...... Anything is possible.

    Correct making HP is the easy bit !!!

    Make Hp reliable and durable are 2 very different realities

    Plus the fact that an engine works much much harder in a marine environment. A 1.5 litre / 1300 HP engine in a marine environment wouldn't even make it out of the No Wake Zone.

    tend to disagree with this comment as we have 600hp truck engines that when placed in a marine application produce in excess of 2000hp

    Good bye Ogura anyway. Good tech but outdated, needed to try something new. Now the new boost is in the hands of Kawasaki, who are the best to be changing engine config to suit. Very happy once again, wonder who is gonna take the reins of the King?
