Do what you like but the theory is:

The sum of water going out must be bigger than the sum going in: therefore regardless of rpm's there will be no buildup of pressure in the core to split it.

    I run 1/2" in then 5/8" out (then split to 2 x 1/2" lines but that's story).

Both ic'er pissers come out at the front rhs so I can keep an eye on them.

    Hope that helps.

Sweet thanks Gunna. What fittings did you use for the outlet?

For the extra pisser at the front I used one off another SHO

For the intercooler, just some brass fittings from the local Hydrualic place such as Pirtek. If you want the stainless clamps you need to ask.

Use anything really but if you don't have time just get the bits off Yamaha Australia (or local dealer) or better still get one off the GH store (see up above OE replacement parts store in the middle). Just takes a week to come in usually and Jerry is very good.

Mmmm that reminds me, I better order one for the wifes sho or she'll shoot me soon.

If this is the case. Why does riva only send you a 1/2" in and a 1/2" out. Oldman

There's been a few guys that have installed the pisser included with the Riva IC in the stock location. The OEM pisser is secured from outside the hull making it easy to remove, but the pisser included with the Riva kit has the retaining nut on the inside, so it's a bitch to get to. I'm going to be installing my Riva cooler tonight...will let you know how well the Riva pisser fits in the OEM hole.

As far as changing water routing & hose size, I would go with the manufacturer's recomendation because I'm sure they did lots of testing to see what gave the best results. More water flow might actually hurt performance because if it's moving through the core too fast it's absorbing less heat. Also, if you get it wrong you could overpressurize the core & damage it.

Thanks for thenomfo guys. So I think I'm better off just running the two outlets independently.
