Bloody CAVITATION with my 09 sho (Please help)

I bought my 2009 sho 2nd hand in new zealand and has done 24 hours, and it cavitates like a mother fucker down low when I accelerate from a dead start which is so annoying! The dealers over here cant tell me how to fix the problem without spending heaps of money, but they say there is quite a few sho's that do it from new, is this true? Also I have taken the jet unit out as they said the impeller is damaged or there is excessive wear but it all looks fine, ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT! CHEERS

i had the same problem with little mods. you may concider a skat prop. possibly 13/22 if you have no mods as i said i have few mods and running a 13/23 cavitation dissapeared completely even in the rough.

A damaged prop will make your ski cavite. Even in stock form. Change it to a skat prop with a different pitch. Other then that I don't know how a stock fx sho would do that.

Do you have any plans to mod it? It could be a perfect time to do the prop and intake gate.

    2 cents.
