Just bought this 05-RXP is this stock??
Well I know it's not stock, the guy I bought it from says he must have bought it this way.
From what I can see pretty sure It has a Riva Intake and a Riva Blow off Valve kit.
I also changed the oil today and noticed this down where the oil returns and filters. Look where the Red Circles are and lmk if thats normal on how the ring is not a complete CIRCLE and seems to have the edges broken off. I'm not sure if this is normal or not.
The Ski Runs fine in water, it does hit HI-TEMP when I seem to redline it for a few seconds to pull out of big turns or when I'm trying to pull someone heavier. I'll also notice a little bit of smoke coming from the prop area when doing hard turns and stuff. I also have a video of it running outside of the water if you could lmk what ya'll think of the sound.

the blow off valve will not help you reduce wear on the supercharger, this was discussed many times, it will actually cause you to lose boost in the long run. Get a stock hose.
the smoke you see from the prop while riding is the vapor coming out of the exhaust. It dump right beside the pump cavity.
you need to pull the charger and take pics of the clutch washers to make sure they are not ceramics.
also how many hours on the ski? if over 100 its time for a coolant change and a supercharger complete rebuild.
Hi temp alarm is from the waterbox overheating, or not getting enough water,
you might have a blockage in the pump strainer or the J-pipe is installed incorrectly onto the waterbox.

The pic of the oil filter cavity is normal. I crapped my pants the first time I looked down there on my first RXP.

Thanks a bunch for all the post guys! Glad to hear that about the Oil cavity. Was kinda worried there. As far as the overheating goes, it started happening after I pulled a fellow jetski to dock one day when he broke down. After that day it seems when I try to tube someone its harder for the ski to get out the water without overheating. It may be me not using the right VTS Settings. Any suggestions when to have the VTS down/up or in between.
As far as wear ring, which wear ring are you referring too and do we have any How-Tos for that. I'm aware of the clutch washers and I plan on rebuilding the SC next thing I do. I have 135hrs on this.
If I'm wanting to do some performance upgrades to this thing. What would be the first thing to knock out? Waterbox (exhaust). Not looking to spend no 6G on stage 3 kits.
Also hey Breon, love your ski and all the time and work you've done to it. Awesome! Where do you buy new hoses up by your mirrors the plastic ones that are grey on stock RXP yours are BLACK.

I also noticed I have a Solas Sticker on the back of my ski. How can I tell if the prop is after-market?

pull your pump and look at the prop, it'll be stamped on the prop

From my experience, it seems aftermarket props are polished and shiny, but a stock prop is dull looking. This is a pic of a stock prop. You can probably tell if you peak at the prop through the pump.
