Is anyone running a Jetdraft intercooler and ET low boost wheel

    Hi Everyone

Im currently running the following set up

    FXSHO 2008
Here are the parts I have with the R2 ECU
Jetdraft Intercooler with BOV (not installed yet)
    R&D SHO Aquavein Intake Grate
R&D Pump Shoe Seal Kit for R&D Grate
R&D Power Core Intake Manfiold Sleeve
R&D SHO Power Plenum Flame Arrester
R&D SHO Pro Series Ride Plate
R&D SHO 13/22 Pro Pitch Impeller (re pitched)
    R&D SHO Anti-Cavitation Cone
    Ride plate holes filled
    Tommy Jordans exhaust mod
    74.4MPH at 7950RPM (goal is 8400RPM)

I was hopping to add the ET low boost wheel to the setup, but am concerned if i will need more fuel (injectors???)? i run in 65and above heat. Is any one else running a similar setup with the ET wheel?

Really appreciate any advice you can give

    Many thanks

I just installed the ETlow boost. Had B1 with power shot. You will have to add RRFPR or bigger injectors. I have chose to go with bigger injectors. GPR injectors. Love the performance of the ET low boost wheel over the B1.Oldman

So when you switched SC wheels you removed the Powershot and substituted GPR injectors?

Setup in OP is similar to mine. Ordered the ETech wheel and was hoping to stay away from a powershot if possible.

I did not remove powershot. Adjust powershot as far as I could #8 and still run to lean. You will have to run either bigger injectors or rrfpr with powershot for tuning. Bob

13.1 is more lean than I'd want to run mine at WOT.

We aren't leaving it that way craig. But you have to do a WOT run for a brief second to know where youre at. The ski wont be run again until the GPR injectors are installed.

ET wheel + PowerShot + injectors = >$1700. Probably not the best bang for the money - particularly since the ETech site says explicitly that only the PS is needed.
I'm at 76.4 on the stock wheel/R2, w/o a PS. ET hasn't shipped yet, think I'll cancel the ET order and go w/ the C1 wheel and maybe one of the TBM cones.

Another option would be to send the ECU back to R&D and tell them you can't get enough fuel. They will put a fuel curve in with more fuel in it. Are you sue your powershot has been reprogrammed as well?

I'd also use a RRFPR before I started switching out injectors. But that's just me. Why add more fuel across the whole board if all you need is about 10% more on top?

May want to check your math again. GPR injectors can me had pretty cheap. 83+ mph is well worth the added expense of fueling parts. An ET SS ski vs a C1 ski is like night and day.

I mentioned all these options to Bob, but he was advised the GPR injectors would work well. He has a set laying around so it's worth trying. I personally like the rising rate FPR. And I agree 100% with your comment about dumping the additional fuel across the board when it's only needed up top.
