    Boost Gauge Install

Read another post regarding gauge installation in the mirrors. Looked pretty sweet. Thinking of starting with a boost gauge and something else (?)... Can aomeone advise where is the best place on the engine to pick up the boost reading? 2010 / RXTX-260

    Thanks.....

Each of the three intake runners have a nipple to connect a hose you will have to drill it open as it comes closed from the factory.

I run mine off the throttle body lube port and it works just fine. I dont care about Vacuum and I pulled my FA out the throttle body so I dont have a tapped intake.

I looked at the throttle body. Where is this lube port? Can you see it while the throttle body is installed? Any other details is much appreciated..

Thanks for the Pic. My 2010 doesn't have that port and if it does its not where I can see it. Might have to drill the intake which I guess means it has to be removed. Nothing is easy is it...

It connects to the yellow nipple part on the engine cover. Do you have that?? if you do just trace it back.

Just checked and I don't see that. My ski is fly by wire. I have some electronic gismo molded into the throttle body. Hard to see. I do see a tube the disapears under the throttle body but I can't see where is goes. Connects to 2 wires that I traced to the ECU wiring. Maybe thats where the ECU reads the boost pressure from, just not sure.
