    Prevent Internal Motor Corrosion???

Will screwing a sacrificial zink anode to some metal part on my 15F help prevent internal corrosion? Yes yes I flush religiously.

I know it all has to do with electrolysis so I figured just about any metal on the engine would work, right?

    Also...

I suspect some residual deposits in the cooling passages of my motor as it seems to run a bit hotter than it used to...
WITHOUT taking the motor apart 'just to check and see,' is there anything I can to test for this?
Will repeated Salt-Away applications make a difference?

    Thanks

I use saltaway religiously and can only hope that it works like they advertise.at least it gives me the comfortable feeling of doing something good.Have you ever seen they're advertisement jar filled with steel hooks and things immersed in saltaway?? Thats what originally made a believer out of me.They do say that repeated useage will remove salt deposits.the way I figure,is you got nothing to lose.try it.
    Good luck.Steve
one more thing,,whenever possible dump your ski in a pond after running in the salt, this will get it to temp and really flush it out.then use saltaway at home.I even use it after freshwater runs.See ya.

most internal deposits get caught up in the gaskets as the gasket holes are alot smaller than the casting holes. just food for thought.

Ultrax07 do you use saltaway throughout your engine bay?
If so once you have done that do you just leave the ski with the seat off, and then before next ride you spray the engine arer or does the sataway mean no more spraying?

salt away is for internal engine flush, if used anywhere else you will need to dry it off. it is supposed to dissolve the salt crystal.
