Fuel Tank Position Changes - 2011 Yamaha FZR & FZS

Talking today with a competitor and Yamaha motor engineer I knew that Yamaha has traded in 2011 FZR & FZS the fuel tank position, leaving 15 cm behind the original position, as this will reduce the excess water that is thrown in the face at high speeds.
    Someone confirm this information?

I didn't quite understand which direction you heard they were moving it, 15cm further forward or aft? If they move it further aft, that'll make changing the supercharger clutches even more fun.

They're moving backwards changing the center of gravity

Hmm, if the motor did not move that is going to make some IC installed almost impossible to get water lines on.

WTF...the FZR is one of the driest rides I have ever been on. The nose is so high and out of the water that it looks like a stuck up girl from Beverly Hills 90210...

There's barley 15cm between the current position and the engine as it is now.....
I'll wait for someone to take some pictures.
