    69.3 Mph 1997 Sltx

I took out Ph2ocraft's 97 SLTX out today and pulled off a 69.3 MPH with the 8 vane, R&D grate and a little chop and 10 gallons of gas. I was running 50/50 110 octane Sunoco and 91 Chevron with AMSOIL Dominator Racing Oil at 40:1. I was playing it safe on the gas. It was also 80 degrees out. We are going to test a 5, 6, and the 12 vane, just to give everyone some #'s with the different setup. I weigh 172Lbs.

With a 5 vane, stock grate, no gas and cooler weather he'll easily pass the 70MPH mark. Now add the 46's and he'll be the suprise at the watering hole.
    Great Job Kevin, My Brother!!!

It was fun opening a can of whoop A$$ on a Turbo Honda. The guy said he did not want to race me from idle since his Honda cavitates. I told him fine I will race him at whatever speed he wanted. Still whooped him bad. He said it suprised the $hit out of him that I beat him and how bad I beat him.

Awesome Kevin. Keep us posted, I love following this stuff.

    Just out of curiosity:

    What's the cranking compression?
    What prop is in it?
    What were the rpm's?

I will have to check with Al on the prop. I think he said the compression is 160. My bad on the RPM's. I do not remember. I will bring out my dry erase board and write down the #'s while I am on the water next time.
