What are your mod and results

I know it is hard for me to keep up with what people are running and what results we are getting from what mods. Jerry can you start a data base on the members mods and results. ARe you happy or not would you change and if there were three mods you could three only three what three would they be. LOL this should be good.

71.5 little over 1/2 tank of gas @8100rpm. Outside temp 90

If I had only three that i could do hmmmmm Repitched solas, intake grate and the power filter.

Jrsrxp - great #'s for what you got...what would be your feeling if you had all these mods:

    Riva intake grate
    Riva sponsons
    PPG OPAS block off
    Riva 2.0 degree pump wedge
    Denso irridium plugs
    PPG "magic fan" air intake
    Solas Concord 14/19
    PPG speed venturi
    Waterbox mod
    PPG free flow exhaust

...and only got 70.2 at 1/2 tank, good flat conditions, no wind, low 60's temp, elevation of 430' and trim a click above middle.

It's obvious I need a repitch, but I'm moving forward. By the month's end I plan to have the RR intercooler, BOV, and SC impeller - then the repitch and settle in for the summer. I'm going to be honest and say that I'm going to be highly disappointed if I don't see over 75 with all this (Stage 2 with a speed venturi and a 2.0 degree wedge on glass).

I dont think the stage 1 counts because is more than one mod. If it did I would take the stage 2 or 3 for my only mod.

    rxforpain,
Man you should be a little stronger than that. Let PPG tweek that impeller somemore. It took two repitches for Glen and Frazier to hit the sweet spot and it was a big bang. With the wedge in flat water you should be @ 72. I also have the cooler Denso plugs. Also if you are getting 8150rpm you might be hitting the rev limiter. Last week I was hitting 8150rpm befor the repitch I was seeing 70 max with one bar of gas. with the repitch the rpms down to 8100 I am now running 71.5 with little more that a 1/2 tank of gas. the impellers on these things have to be on the money to get the most out of your mods

    Stock- 67
    Riva Free flow intake-69
SC impeller /HD Clutch/BOV- 70.9 (conditions were choppy though)

SC impeller adds midrange fun, and very little on top (which Im happy with).

Don't tell me to send my prop off to PPG, Im not worth there time of day.

After all the positives posted with the SC impeller, I called PPG to order. I mentioned the repitch and Armin and John said that I should wait to do it after installing the mods and then send it in...because I'm also planning on the RR intercooler too. I'm confident that my speed loss is in the pitch and I know it'll be right - right?

I feel the same way because of the bad service they been given me serveral times. I guess you have to be a butt kisser to get good service from them.

    Nitro,
I would not go that far as saying "I guess you have to be a butt kisser to get good service from them. " I just have not gotten bad service from them. If I have gotten or was getting bad service I would not spend any money on there products or their work. TO each there own.[/quote]
