    Vinyl graphics

Anyone here have the equipment necessary to make vinyl decals for these skis? After I repaint my SL project I am going to need a very important 'Use only 40:1 premixed PREMIUM gasoline' decal for around the filler neck. I know that I will never forget, but people like to 'do nice things' once in a while, like fill up your fuel tank when you are busy with other things like changing into a wetsuit or sleeping. I would also like a set of decals for my gas cans that can identify them as '40:1 premixed PREMIUM gasoline'. What I have been doing now is to put a piece of tape on the cans and write down what it inside after I add them. If I add oil, I write down the ratio and the type. If I add stabilizer, I write that down. Then I know exactly what is in the can. When it is empty, I take off the tape and start again. I would still like a permanant decal so that I remember which cans have had oil in them and which ones are straight gasoline.

Thanks. I knew someone here had the equipment, just couldn't remember where I saw it.

    Bgaidan,
Can you recreate the shadow box "750" that's on the gunwales of the SL750 skis? I have a '94 that is missing the top portion that is above the rub rail.

    Like this one?

I could probably do it, but I'd need some measurements or possibly a good straight-on pic of the sticker so I could vectorize it.

I will definately need a set of numbers, and probably a couple polaris logos, as well as the 'premix only' decal for around the filler neck. In fact, if you made up a really nice looking one for the fuel neck I bet you could sell a few to the guys here that have gone premix! I will get back to you when I decide on the colors and such.

I have a 24" cutter....which cuts about 22" wide by just about any length.

If anyone has an idea for what they'd want around the filler neck, it'd be pretty damn easy to do. I guess I'd need to see what differences there are between models.

I just cut this one to see how it would look. The SLTX hull is way to busy for this kind of sticker...plus the yellow isn't the greatest color, but it's what I had in the cutter and I have a ton of it so I didn't mind wasting some. Looking at my '01 SLH, there's no room to put a curved sticker...I'll have to do a straight one on the hood above the filler.
