    Drive shaft removal help wont come out!!!

    Hey, guys!

    I'm having problems removing the drive shaft out of an 06 sportster with a 4-tec 215hp any tips, do you need to remove the bellow, carbon ring, and support ring and how.

    Yikes tons of rust thats gonna make it hard. Yes slide the boot/bellow back amd there is a c clip you have to pop off the driveshaft, that will allow you to pull the shaft out. Do a search on carbon ring replacement and there are some tricks to make it "easyier"

    Welcome to the forum!

    Put the pump back on with a spacer down in prop. Then just snug the pump up, do not over tighten.

    Then do as stated above.
