For those that don't go there, Glen had a new light weight hood and sit. I goint to be getting both if the price is right. What you guys think about them?

they look good.. nothing "new" tho... they already existed thru rotax racing in both carbon fibre and fiberglass... i believe he's trying to do things in-house and make the same mold rotax uses and make them a little more cheaper and profitable.

i'm not sure how accurate that thread is so far... but 1100 for that fiberglass hood is kinda outragesous considering the price of a straight carbon fibre one. fiberglass isn't nearly the same price as CF.

unless his 1100 price figure included a paint job on it.

they definitely do look good in the photos tho! can't take that away from it. I'm inquiring about getting both the seat and hood myself also.

I'd like to know how close to reality 1600cc really is right now as far as turnover time. and i'd like to know if you truly do gain from it since all the boost and air we're throwing thru 1500cc has a hard time getting pushed thru the exhaust valves, manifold, and j-pipe as it is.

Mike... it's been nothing but constant winds that are blowing garbage pales all around town, knocking down weak trees, and de-rooted one of the bushes in the backyard, lol...

oh and the piece of vinyl siding outside my bedroom window that's flapping around keeping me up all night

it's chilly in the 50s, and gets into the 30s late at night
