    help! removing output sleeve

    this comes out counter clock wise so i dont need to remove pto cover how can i lock the enigne so i wont move is there any special tool to insert in the output sleeve to brake it loose with a braker bar?

    You need a crank shaft locking tool... if it will even hold up. Beerdart had a recent post somewhere about removing those things.... maybe he'll chime in soon.

    im working on removing mine now....its a BI*CH!!!! Good luck, also be sure not to rip the mounts of the fiberglass when using a long breaker bar....

    Yep lock the crank with the tool. I used and old cutoff driveshaft and a 2' pipe wrench with the motor strapped to the table.

    just found out you can use the impeller installing/removing tool to remove the crank coupling as well hope this help!

    You will need the 155mm pump impeller tool to take off the output sleeve.
