951 carbed oil injection pump ????????????
how much or will the oil injection pump while cranking ???? trying to make sure the pump is pumping before i fire the motor, but cant get anything, does the pump only pump enough while running speed ????

If the motor is on the bench pull the park plugs, look inside where the reeds are and u can see the oil nipples . hook up a batt to the starter and hold the oil pump full open. after it cranks for a bit you will see the oil pumping out. If its in the boat then same idea but alittle harder

In addtioin to the above (holding pump wide open) add some oil to the tank (40:1) and you wont have any oil starvation problems while the lines bleed out.

tried the cranking thing for over a hour, nothing, so i started it with a 40:1 mix held the pump open while idleing and it pumped up right away, i dont think it will pump at cranking speed, even the manual says to start it and hold the pump open anyway it water ready !!!!!!!!!!! i'll be on the st johns and lake pointsette this sat morning !!!!!
