I would suggest reading the owners manual front to back many times. It has everything you need to know about your ski. If you have any questions just post them. There is also a post for new riders yet me find it. Not the one I wanted but it will dohttp://www.greenhulk.net/forums/show...nal-Watercraft

    Welcome to the Hulk.

yeah had a qwik read about the safety etc just didnt see where it told me on frequency of oil changes. was it every 25hrs? is it something that can be done by yourself or does it need specialist equipment to drain oil?

You can change it yourself. As for equipment some people use drills or wet vacs to pump it out. A kawa owner can chime in on those details. Some people like to change it every season or every 25 hours. Up to you.

Some of us change at 10 hrs (I do) and some change at 20 hrs.

•Drain the oil thoroughly from the dipstick tube, using a
    commercially-available vacuum pump.

•Replace the filter with a new one. •Apply engine oil to the gasket, before installation. •Tighten the filter with the oil filter wrench.
    Torque - Oil Filter: 18 N·m (1.8 kgf·m, 13 ft·lb)
