    Question Stock X boat prop?????

Got to thinking last night. It usually gets me in trouble. Has anybody with a heavly modified RXPX or RXP 80+ MPH tried using a stock X boat prop. I know whole shot would probably be for poo unless you tweeked the leading edge, but I wounder if you could get some decent top end with one. I am picking up my PX from getting the valve train upgraded and with the Riva ecu rpms are not a problem. I have 2 X boat props laying around and thought I might be able to have one tweeked to be maybe a summer time prop.

I wouldnt consider mine heavily modified but an untouched px prop i had up to 76-78. There was a thread recently saying the prop doesnt move enough water (volume wise) at high speed and may cause a buck at a lowerd speed then a solas 15/22 would. I didnt expierence it but just beware

I ran my stock prop 75+, but was all over the rev limiter. I have pressure relief, so not to worried about buck, but who knows if I were to spin it 8500/8600.

I love mine on my 07 RXP that I converted to an p-x. It has gone 75+ through the 83mm nozzle.
