    Sandbar in Key Largo Area

I've heard there is place in the Key Largo area called the "Sandbar" that at low tide you can pull up to. Where is it located? Does anyone have GPS cooridinates?
    Thanks.

    That's Islamorda

"The Sandbar" as it is universally known is in Islamorada on the Ocean side at about
Mile marker 82 offshore from Holiday Isle resort and Tiki bar. You can't miss it
from land or sea..........lots of activity, plenty of LEO presence.....

Key Largo has the best coral reefs including the Christ of the Abyss about 6 miles
    off John Pennekamp state park.

You can't go north of the Intracoastal on the bayside. That's Everglades National Park. As far as the ocean side you can go where ever a boat can go. There are plenty of no motor zones, so it's best to have a chart and watch were you go.

The wife and I have been wanting to do a Key Largo / Pennekamp park trip. Looks like the SoFla Clup circumnavigated Key Largo in its entirety, though I may be mistaken. The Everglades Bounday parallels the intracoastal on the Florida Bay side if I'm not mistaken. I guees as long as you're right on the border you're ok.

That is too bad. It seems like there is so much to see and do. I was planning an overnight camping trip to North Nest Island via jet ski until I realized the Everglades National Park was a no PWC zone. It's such an irony that a bigger boat with an outboard prop has no problem camping there while an eco friendly PWC is banned. Fellow pirates, gimme an "ARRRrrrghhh..." (and that is all I have to say about that.) argh.
