Which pump bearing mod is best????
I put the SS wear ring in on a stock pump. I ran it one weekend and pulled the pump to check it. The impeller is getting into SS wear ring. It appears if you are turning in the 8400 rpms range you must mod the pump. So those of you that have the PPG, Skat or Ipros mod speak up.

Hi David, I'm speaking up. I like my skat trak modded pump. And I like my PPG modded pump. I just bought a Bruce Taylor SS wear ring, but didn't install it yet, for I left my stuff in Canada with mark.

According to Glen @ PPG, they primarily do the 5 mm bearing mod. He said that it works the best. He doesn't do the double-bearing mod often.

I realize now that I didn't really answer your question, but it's important just the same.
