    FZR Rebuild

I have been amazed by the wealth of knowledge in these threads.

I just picked up great project but got discouraged by many Chicago land Yamaha "experts" regarding repairs of the hull using new nano technology. I see it's possible... question is if I can afford it.

I have 2009 FZR with about 12 hours on it. Someone ran it to the shore and hull has a lots of damage. Some pix will be attached.

I am looking for honest opinion if damage like this can be repaired. I am casual driver not a racer.
I saw in one of the September threads someone selling bear hull I would be very interested in purchasing used hull for my FZR.

Thanks a bunch for your input

If only this ski was like this in Australia. I'd buy it off you and do a GPR-SHO... I cant find any smashed ski's anywhere here..... DoH!

Thats a whole lot of damage. It def be cheaper to buy another hull or put the motor in a gpr hull

If your serious about a transplant you can find guys on here with hulls for sale now and then.

If you don't want to tackle a project like that you'll have no trouble selling that boat here either.

I'll put my name down as interested if you decide to sell. What's the back story? Did it sink, does it run, etc?

Depending on what you paid and what you want from your pwc you could have plenty of fun building a project boat; or bang your head into a wall trying to make everything work out right.

    Best of luck either way!
