    Need help from trailer expert

i recently got a used double trailer and noticed during my first tow, that it was only the tires that were providing the "suspension bounce"
i took some pictures of the trailer suspension and noticed that the leaf springs seem to hit the mount not allowing for any "play" (Pic2) and in the center, there is this block that the trailer center beam seems to be sitting on (Pic1)
    Any suggestions for improvement?
    Thanks for your help.

Maybe you are over its weight capacity?

maybe cracked leaves? def toast. I would upgrade those tie plates also...

if you take the weight off does the suspension rebound?

My question is what is that crazy looking bar that goes thru the leafspring in the first pitcher?

Thease guys are on the right track. It looks like its over wheight. but I dont see how that can be. Soooo it must have some broken leafs or just worn out leafs. Overtures would have them. In my area there is a place called K&H metals that has a trailer section. You might find some place around you that carries trailer parts.

Even without weight on the trailer, it sits that way. I was just wondering what that block/mount is in the middle of the axle? Is there supposed to be a rubber mount on it or something?

I cannot even picture what the middle mount is. Can you take a picture of the whole trailer? Never seen that before.

I don't think that is a mount. I think it is a bump stop and it is riding on it either because the springs are shot, broken, or a mount may be broken.]

That's the best I can figure out. Need better pics
