    Gp1200r Water flush connect

I did do a search but I am now confused, I found this for a yamaha XL 1200 limited, notice part number 28 is the conduction assembly and sells for $2.85

If I buy one for a 1200r then it jumps to $51.00

So is there any difference, it seems like the yamahas would be a standard fitting for the water hose. I noticed the part numbers differ, but wanted to know if they are physically different. I really need a connect so I can flush my engine, but $51.00 seems really high.

sometimes you get the connection that contains a short piece of hose, and sometime you get just the part that screw onto the end of the garden hose and inserts into the flush connection. try looking up your part here for comparison. those prices dont sound right

if it is the conduction assembly you want they sell here for about $35 (complete hose assembly)
so those prices seem very wrong
the $51 piece looks like just the plastic end
the $2.00 piece looks like the whole hose assembly
my guess is an error and it will cost $102

They both look the same to me. It even looks like the same drawings. All I need is a way to hook my water hose up to my 1200r. I just got the 2 ski's this year and they didn't have them. I have found many things that look like theyt would work but it starts getting hard to tell if I am buying the piece that goes on the water hose and connect to the fitting on the ski, it if I am buy the hose with the fitting that mounts on the ski.

either one will work for you if you can get it for $2 go for it
if you look at the 2 links you put up one has the hose as part of the conection , thats the way they use to come
the other one (the $50 one) is just the plastic fitting no hose conected to it , thats the way they come now
but i have seen them on the wall at the local yammy dealer as the full hose peice for sale for $35 (don't know if they are after market or not

Okay got the $2 one, and that is what they charged me, it has no hose but connects to the water hose then to ski, haven't tried it on the ski yet but should work. Just wanted to let others know.
