    Question '06 RXP Top Speed

What top GPS speed did everybody record on their RXP after initial break-in? I know Riva indicates 67~68 but I'm looking for "Real World" numbers meaning avg rider, height, 80+ temp, minimal chop, sitting on seat etc.

BTW - www.boattest.com only recorded 65 but I'd say thier testing was more ideal.

    Thanks,

Do you remember the conditions such as air temp, & was this in salt or fresh water?

Just record all of your GPS #'s throughout the summer. Then get the average. That's what I did with my '04, and my average was 67.55mph. My best #'s were between 68 and 69 and my worst between 66 and 67.

    Just a suggestion.

Thanks RXPkid that's what I was looking for. My problem is I'm impatient. As soon as I get 10 hrs I plan on installing the Riva Stg II kit. I would like to track my #'s b/4 any mods but I trying to get 10 hrs b/4 it gets to cold. Also, it's kinda lonely out on the lake this time of year.

Good idea to see how you're running before doing the mods. I did the same. That way I knew how much I gained and that I wasn't losing any speed before intalling the mods and thinking that they didn't perform the way they should.

Sorry for the short post before I was heading out the door.

I live her in South, Fl. so the Temp were daily over 90 Degrees.
I never really saw much a difference between salt and fresh but that's me and everyone results vary.
