    GPR body panels how are they secured to ski???

    hello everybody, i am a little confused so here goes--- i am trying to remove the gold side panels on my 06 so i can paint them. i have the 2 allen head screws out from the front hood area, 2 from the outside, and 1 from under the compartment . now i am stuck with however it is attached at the top of the air ducts. i looked in the manual but no specific info for removal. i tried it in thread search but came up empty. thanks in advance for the help, Bruce

    At the top there are tabs that snap onto the console. Be careful, they are easily broken if you yank it off. I pulled the fairing away from the deck just enough to see underneath & then used a long flathead screwdriver to push up on the tabs to release them.

    or ----pull firmly from both ends with a little upward pressure. yeah i found this out after i tried from the front and broke the first clip oh well epoxy here it comes !! thanks for your help mjh3ides!!!

    one of the gold sections .. no big deal i just made one out of metal and riveted it in place all set. panels are scuffed and i will paint them black thursday night . thanks for help.
