Are they just as accurate at measuring speed as any other GPS? Anyone used one to determine there top speed?

    Cheers

I tried it, doesn't work as the phone does not update quick enough.

Tried out the App called "MAX SPEED" for my iphone. Worked a treat.
Clocked 73.7mph @ 8160, which is pretty much where i would expect my speed to be at those revs. Did quite a few runs and it seemed very consistent..

I'm going to test an application called speed box. It logs your highest speed in a graph tried it in re car and was accurate with my in dash gps. So it may be worth a try

I also downloaded that one with the intent on trying it out. Didnt seem to pick up signal on the river for some reason though. Seems like a good app though.
