    Rxt-x 260 2010 self test

I have a question about the normal operation of the self test on rxtx-x 260. When I push the start/stop button and don't install the lanyard the gauges light up and the needs sweep then it displays limp home mode twice. If you push the start/stop button again after it shuts down it won't display limp home mode. If I let it sit for 5-10 min it then display limp home mode again. Its a new ski with 11 min on it and two dealers said this is normal. I have nothing to compart it to since this is my first ski and don't know if this normal or not.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Mine does that as well but only if I dont put the key on right away. I suspect its normal. Others may not notice as they are putting the key on as well.
