Found a skat trak 14/19 in my 95 slx
I bought a 95 slx 780 over the summer. I rebuilt the top end and finally got it on the water to break the motor in. I noticed that compared to my other 96 slx 780 (with new wear ring and refurb sbt impeller) that it had pretty bad hole shot. It just felt like it was cavitating or something. So I took the pump off and found a skat trak 14/19 3 blade swirl in it. What should a skat trak 14/19 swirl feel like compared to a stock slx impeller?

95 SLX used the same impeller as a 750. (about a 13/ 18 )
96 and 97 used a Skat trak swirl 15/20.
So, a 14/19 should be OK. Even though that was most likely used on a 900 or a modified 780.
