My guess its a secondary clutch to take some of the strain of the original sprag clutch inside the motor.
Wonder if it could work by itself and we could ellimate the one in the engine, that would be nice.
Clutch changes would be just a matter of unbolting the Supercharger.

It looks to me like it bolts to the rear of the supercharger housing to take some of the strain out of the main clutch. doubt it would replace the main clutch but wouldnt it be nice if they could design one that would, would just be a bolt on job then and a fixed gera on the crank....

that clutch system is the same rotax concept as for the seadoo superchargers. the purpose of it is to inject oil directly into the supercharger clutch at all times using the engine oil pump pressure so the sprag clutch system is well lubricated at all times thus reducing friction and heat from the sprag clutch system and making the clutch last longer...

Looks to me like it does more than inject oil, Its a secondary clutch to help break down some of that inertia from the original clutch inside thus giving the sprag a longer life.
I see washers, a gear that is designed to locks and unlock and lock nuts to hold things in place
I am working on a clutch system myself, but small Island and limited reasorces have me on the go slow.

Good for you man. Hope it works out. If you're successful it will make a lot of people really happy.

Doug, I have to admit I was the biggest skeptic of this clutch system. I had some customers asking for it so I added it to the store. I have some guys in the Middle East using this clutch and they swear by it. No problems at all. One guy just ordered 5 more of them yesterday to install on customers skis

When I reinstall my engine I'm going with the new Riva H1 supercharger upgrade and I'll be installing the Rotax Racing clutch so I'll be able to give you guys first hand input on how the clutch works out.
