    Andy,

I did some research awhile back and liked:
    Mystik® JT-4® Synthetic 2-Cycle Personal Watercraft

I can't find it here in Atlanta because the distributor won't carry it!

I found a source but it is about 50 miles away in Athens Ga. Might make a trip in the spring.

If I remember right, it meets or exceeds API-TC standards....which is good.

    Bill

    Andy,

I'm not real familiar with Mystik lubricants, myself. The "ultimate high performance" stuff says TCW3 and "ashless chemistry"...so that's not doing it for me. The Synthetic Watercraft stuff sounds more like what I'd run...$25/gal for it...just found a local supplier of Citgo S&S for just under $15/gal...so I'm happy now. Before, I was having to get it from a place 2hrs away, on my way home from vacation.

reading the msds pdf it looks to be very very similar to yamalube. ius it possible that the synthetic 2 stroke is 2S?
S&S would be great if we could get it here on the East Coast. so we are forced to pay more for the same thing or use other synth`s...

I have no doubt that it is VERY similar...Due to proprietary formulas, it's probably slightly different, but my bet is that the real world performance would be nearly identical.

You can't find a Citgo distributor to get you S&S huh? Even in this lovely state of Michigan, where businesses are fleeing by the train load, we still have quite a few.
