    Speedster seat base removal?

    Hi
How do you remove the seat bases from the hull on a 2007 Speedster?
Mine are moving around when you sit on them.
    Thanks

It uses plastic "Darts" similar to what you would find in a car holding stuff like you door liner on. To remove just insert something like a flat bar and pry up. When I had a S150 I had to replace these cause my cushions would not stay put either. Having said that new "Darts" dont really help for long....

Same issue on my seats moving around with the darts / christmas tree plastic plugs. Removed and replaced with Velco. Secured velco with small stainless screws, both in the fiberglass and in the plastic seat cushion.

The best quick fix it to get a pair of long 45 Degree pliers and get into the engine compartment. You can stand on your head and see under the seats. Grag the Darts and pull them tight.
Best Perm. fix is to take all the seats out, add Velcro to the seats and seat base. Sticky type is fine. Then put it back on with the Darts. A little hard to do, but just take your time. After that, go into the engine compartment, grab the Darts with the pliers and pull them tight. THey will not move.
