    97 GP1200 pop off pressure

I decided to rebuilt my carbs since it has been four yours at least.

I re-read about about checking the pop-off pressure and the SBT site says you can't have the pump or inline filter attached....I believe I have always tested it this way in the past.

What is the actual procedure then for checking the pop off pressure? What does everyone else do?

Using this site as a reference...seems to be good - makes not mention of removing carb filter or pump to test pop-off pressure
