Thread: Pump Bearing??

I am about to rebuild my pump and I was wondering what kind of pump bearing should I get? SBT replacements, IR reg duty, IR heavy duty or other brand? I know everyone will prob say the IR Hd's but $170 for bearing is kind of high dont ya think?

IR regular duty for 1200, 1300 engines.
IR HD for conversion engines (Sea Doo, SHO )

stock replacements are fine if you aren`t going to push it to the edge.
IR kits are very nice. If you need them. make sure you get the seals etc...
and go with the grease/oil mixture...

When should I replace my wear ring? I took the pump out today and it looks like it has some light scratchs and stuff but no deep ones. $300 for a new wear ring is crazy! I have pics of wear ring if someone could tell me.
