    Great info I have a Kawi SXR 800 that I want to put the 951 in and this info is great I just dont know how much size differance the coffman is compared to the stock pipe ? check this video out of a 951 sxr it ROCKS !! any thoughts or help from you guys would be great on set up .

    I would guess one of you head pipes has an internal leak. I have had to replace 2 of them.

    You need to pressure test the engine with the head pipes installed (not hard to do).

    Now the hard part is finding a replacement headpipe...

    Im planning on rebuilding my carbs over the next week or two, would this rejet be correct for no accelerator pumps?
    . Jetting is 95 lows and 170 mains with 2.3 needle and seats with stock springs. ... im also going to be running a ADA Racing 49cc dome head with dual pissers ... prok filters ...

    Holy cow you must type like 61.1 mph and 7000 rpms. Ha Ha I just bought a 97 SPX what can ya tell me about the mods you did to the one you owned.

    I wanna thank ben for his carb tuning info. I recently bought all the items he listed for the jet kit (85 LS, 167.5 HS, 2.3 N/S and a pair of Proks) for $115 from parker yamaha. That's $60 less (a full tank of gas for my GSXL!) than other forum sellers are selling the same "kit" for.

    It made a huge difference in the way my 98 gsxl runs.

    I pulled the waterbox padding off this weekend, and WOW that stuff was HEAVY!!! Thanks for the tip!!!
