    Intake grate

I had just placed an order w/ pwc performance earlier today so I'm hoping I can add this in. I spent the last 2 hours searching and learning about the ski and found the intake grate is unsafe. Everyone recommends an R & D 1200 but I wasn't able to come across a link to one. Is this the one I should be looking at?

    Thanks

that should work just fine...1200 grate for hook-up and 800 grate for top speed smooth water.

Welcome to the forum. Yes, the stock grates are dangerous. The 1200 R&D grate is the way to go. Dont forget to read up on the tunnel reinforcement. Thats another safety mod that needs to be done. A pump seal kit is also something you should throw in there.

    Thanks for the welcome.
I've been reading non stop to try to learn the terms associated with PWC as this is my first one. Learned about the tunnel reinforcement. Though that will probably be something I do custom as I have a ton of fiberglass mat and epoxy. Haven't read anything about the pump seal kit though so will do that
    Thanks!
